Hello reader! My name is David Southworth. I am new to the creative writing game, but I had fun writing this short story. I am a student of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, an aircraft mechanic, and most importantly, a husband and father of three. I wanted to write a story about hope. It is easy to get lost in the darkness and sometimes all it takes is one small action to show us the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope you enjoy the story!
