This article is based on an interview with Mr. [Jose] Ramos-Horta, the co-winner of the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize along with Carlos Felipe Ximenes Belo. The interview was conducted by the IBPP editor. The article is also based on remarks delivered by Mr. Ramos-Horta to an audience at Yavapai College (Prescott, Arizona) and sponsored by that college, Prescott College, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott Campus).
