Chief Technology Officer
Becky L. Vasquez is the Chief Technology Officer at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide. Her responsibilities include providing strategic direction and operations for virtual services, the university’s web presence and technical support for over 150 classroom locations as well as an extensive online learning program. A service oriented technologist at heart, Becky has become a champion for using systems effectively and supporting innovations. She has been a member of educational software corporation advisory boards and regularly participates in industry wide activities that support the community and advancement of technology in education. Becky has been with the University for fifteen years in various technology leadership positions and holds an undergraduate degree in computer science. On behalf of the University and in recognition of EagleVision, the live virtual classroom; she received a "CIO 100 Award" from CIO Magazine in 2009.
