Vice President for Student Affairs

Nancee Bailey was named Embry-Riddle’s Vice President of Student Affairs for the Daytona Beach Campus in 2013.

She oversees the following departments: Campus Events, Campus Ministry, Counseling, Dean of Students, Disability Support Services, First-Year Programs, Health Services, Housing, Library, Orientation & Family Relations, Records & Registration, Student Activities, and Veterans Affairs.

In previous positions at Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus, Bailey was Associate Chancellor from 2006-2009 and Associate Vice President of Student Affairs from 2009-2013.

Before joining Embry-Riddle, she was Vice President of Academic Affairs at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Fla., and held several positions at Daytona Beach Community College (now Daytona State College): Dean of the DeLand Campus, Associate Vice President of Curriculum and Instruction, Assistant to the President, and Director of the University Center.

Bailey holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida, where she was named a Rising Star, won the J.L. Wattenbarger Leadership Award, and was named the Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year in the College of Education. She also holds an M.F.A. in Art History and a B.F.A. in Painting, both from Ohio University. In professional development, Bailey is a graduate of the Leadership DeLand program, a joint venture of Stetson University and the DeLand Chamber of Commerce.
