Abstract

The goal of this project is to design, test and compete a high powered rocket with a 10 lb. Scientific payload. Design was completed using rocksim software, along with previous experience, with construction being done using various machinery. The payload was designed using an Arduino microcontroller connected to various sensors that will take and record real time flight data. Testing and payload analysis will be done before the competition during a test launch, and I final launch will be performed at the rocketry competition in June, ehile competing against multiple universitys from around the U.S.
