Biography

Tammy Bossard, Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, works as the Subcontracts Management Manager on the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program supporting our Strategic Special Programs (SSP) US Navy customer. Tammy leads a team of Lockheed Martin Subcontract Professionals responsible for managing a complex domestic and international supply chain of over 100 suppliers and budget responsibility in excess of $1.5 Billion in support of the FBM program, including both support equipment and flight hardware requirements. Prior to joining the FBM program, Tammy worked on the Javelin Program at Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control managing both International and Domestic subcontracts to include development and production contracts, supporting the US Army. There, Tammy gained experience in supply chain management across all phases of the program lifecycle, capture, development, production, and sustainment while managing domestic and international suppliers in all program phases. Tammy worked to improve supplier affordability, initiating the first International Supplier Performance Management Team (SPMT) team at Lockheed Martin. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Tammy worked as the (Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile) JASSM Production Supervisor at Kaman Precision Products, supporting the Air Force Program. There, Tammy utilized her lean knowledge and worked with a team comprised of Lockheed Martin, Air Force and Kaman employees to jointly improve the production flow of the JASSM process in order to move the program from a red production line – impacting production facilities, to successfully and consistently deliver 50 bomb fuzes per month and becoming a green program, supporting the Lockheed Martin Internal Operating Plan (IOP) and end user need. Prior to taking on the responsibility of the JASSM Production Supervisor, Tammy held a role as the Contracts Manager at Kaman Precision Products in which she worked with various customers to include the Navy, Air Force, Army as well as foreign customers. In this role, she worked with the customer in order to execute contract modifications, complete fact finding and negotiations, support prime proposal submittals and ensure adherence to contractual requirements. This role also consisted of the Export Control Officer responsibilities, supporting all of the Division’s International Business. Tammy graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Rollins College and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
