Description
The necessity of providing a real-time simulation of controlled reentries of the Gemini vehicle for filtering of tracking data, performance monitoring, and real-time impact prediction has led to the development of a computer program which simulates the Gemini vehicle 1 s performance during computer-controlled reentries. The system characteristics incorporated in the simulation as well as a discussion of some typical Gemini reentry trajectories make up the body of this paper.
