Abstract

Growing need for air travel in the Asia-Pacific has resulted in increased demand for aircraft services, airspace and runway congestion deepening. The operation risk is significantly growing, which requires the establishment of risk management system either on national or organizational safety system. To establish the safety culture in fast growing situation, when there are needed stabilize culture and resources on the safety factors of an organization. In this research we had collect perception of safety culture of air traffic controllers in Korea and analyze safety factors affect organization. In this research, the authors tried to evaluate categorical safety factors such as organization system and culture, managerial and air traffic controller’s attitude as well as experience and background.
