Edward F. Logan, Jr. received primary training at Embry-Riddle Field in Union City, Tennessee in 1943 and later became a pilot for Riddle Airlines in Miami.

Scope and Content

Embry-Riddle Primary Flight School - Union City, Tennessee, September 1943.

"Cadets after P.T., part of the original seven who all trained in the entire program together. Cadet Logan is kneeling, fifth from the left. The Tennessee University T shirt is a holdover from the 63rd College Training Detachment at U.T."

"We were all 20 years old. I had just 20 years old the previous month."
