Meeting these challenges and managing growth requires sufficient and properly trained human resources, and FAA will discuss best practices that the U.S. deploys to ensure it has the workforce it needs to meet the demands. FAA will also address how air navigation modernization efforts can help support and manage growth in a safe and efficient manner. Finally, FAA will present on the use of big data to support risk-based decision making and the role that it plays in helping ensure safety within complex and growing aviation systems.
