Biography

Brian Sartain is Senior Vice President of Repair and Engineering Services for AAR, a leading provider of aviation services for commercial and government customers in more than 100 countries.

Sartain joined AAR in 2018 in his current role overseeing MRO Services, Component Repair, Engineering Services, Landing Gear Services and Composites. In 2019, Sartain was elected a corporate officer.

Sartain has more than 25 years of aerospace experience, most recently as Executive Vice President of Aerospace for Chromalloy Gas Turbine, a global technology company providing integrated solutions for OEMs, commercial airlines, militaries and energy companies. Prior to Chromalloy, he served as Vice President of Business Development – Sensors & Integrated Systems at United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS), and Vice President and General Manager of several businesses with the Goodrich Aerospace Corporation.

Sartain holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management Executive Masters Program.
