EagleCam Video 1: EagleCam Project Overview

EagleCam will be taking the world’s ultimate selfie when it captures the first-ever third person views of a spacecraft making an extraterrestrial landing. As the Intuitive Machines Nova-C Lunar Lander approaches the surface of the Moon, EagleCam will separate from the lander to capture the moment it touches down. Slated for launch in the fourth quarter of 2021, the CubeSat camera system is being designed and built by engineering students and faculty. More than just a camera, EagleCam will also uncover new scientific findings through dust plume imagery, dust accumulation analysis, and lunar surface imagery.
