Biography
Anna Gopsill is a PhD candidate in Human Rights at the School of Advanced Study, University of London. Her research centres on the relationship between gender and genocide, with a focus on sexual violence and masculinity. Specifically, her PhD project examines male victims of sexual violence in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Rwanda addressing both the typology of violence and international legal mechanisms for male victims of sexual violence in these two contexts. She is also a research affiliate at Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen, Norway.
