Biography

Dr. Anat Plocker specializes in modern eastern European history. She is a lecturer at Stockton University’s program in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Dr. Plocker served as a research fellow at the Institution of Social and Policy Studies, Yale University, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Haifa. She has taught at the University of Haifa and the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel. Her research focuses on post-1945 eastern Europe and on the ideology and politics of Holocaust commemoration. Dr. Plocker’s book, Homelands: Poles and Jews under Communism, is forthcoming in 2021 at Indiana University Press.
