Miles Bengtson obtained B.S. (2016, summa cum laude) and M.S. (2017, with distinction) degrees in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida. He is currently an NDSEG Fellow and Graduate Researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department at University of Colorado Boulder. His dissertation research is focused on remote sensing of spacecraft charging. Other research interests include space situational awareness, astrodynamics, space weather, and plasma chamber experiments. Miles was a Space Scholar at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2016 and 2018. He is an alumnus of the International Space University Space Studies Program (2017) and a member of the AIAA Atmospheric and Space Environments Technical Committee.
