Pictured is the propeller and engine cowling of a 1942 Vultee BT-15 Valiant (snv) that was displayed at the Plant City event: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles in Plant City, Florida. Nicknamed the “Vultee Vibrator”, this elegant machine ran 9 CYL. 450 HP and was primarily flown in World War II. Testing my new, recently acquired prime lens for my DSLR, I wanted to snag an up-close shot of this beautiful blue airplane.
