Personal Reflection

What were you doing on 9/11? (Or, What was your interviewee doing on 9/11?)

I was about to begin a class at Duke Divinity School when one of the admins walked in with a look of shock on her face.

How did 9/11 affect you personally and or professionally?

The events made me think quite a bit about the role of the church in times of crisis.

What do you want future generations of professionals, particularly those going into your field, to know about 9/11?

We can get through anything if we let tragedies draw us together rather than separate us.

On 9/11, what sector were you (OR your interviewee) in?

Education – Student

On 9/11 what was your (OR your interviewee’s) occupation? (optional)

Divinity student and Student Pastor at Red House Presbyterian Church
