Biography

Tom Duncan is a key point of contact for aerospace and spaceport programs within the Florida Department of Transportation. For over the last eighteen years Tom has served on, managed, or contributed to several state level councils and commissions related to aviation and space in Florida. Most notably, he served six years as the vice-chair on the board of directors for the Florida Aerospace Finance Corporation, a predecessor organization to Space Florida. He also worked ten years with the Florida House of Representatives, serving as professional staff to the Transportation Committee, where he authored several laws, including FDOT’s public private partnership law. Tom’s other work experiences include the Florida Office of the Auditor General and management of a small central Florida municipality.

Tom has a Masters and Bachelor degrees from Florida State University.
