Biography

Captain Mike Foreman is a former Naval Aviator and an Annapolis graduate with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. He graduated with Distinction from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School with an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and also graduated with Distinction from the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School. He has over 7,500 hours of flight time in over 50 different types of aircraft. He was selected to be a NASA astronaut in 1998 and has spent over 637 hours in space during two space shuttle missions. While in space, he performed 5 spacewalks for a total of 32 hours and 19 minutes outside the space vehicles helping to build the International Space Station.

After 17 years as an astronaut, Mike left NASA in 2015 to join Venturi Outcomes, LLC, a Houston-based consulting firm specializing in managing construction projects for non-profit organizations.

In addition to his duties as President of Venturi, Mike is also the Mayor of Friendswood, Texas.
