Biography
Dr. Scott Burgess of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide has 33 years of civil/military industry experience as an IP/CFI, flight operations manager, maintenance manager, commander, researcher, auditor, and consultant. University experience includes industry research, curriculum development, instruction, and authorship. Burgess developed the ERAU helicopter programs, chaired the worlds largest aviation degree, and now pursues tenure researching in helicopter safety and UAS. He serves on the UAS committee with the Helicopter Association International and two committees in the US Helicopter Safety Team.
