Biography
HQ AFSPC/A2/3/6S—Mr. Timothy P. LeRoy
Mr. LeRoy serves as Deputy Chief, Space Operations Division, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. He is responsible for providing policy, guidance and resources for USAF space operations, including satellite command and control; satellite communications; space and ground-based missile warning; position, navigation and timing; space launch and range operations; and airfield operations. In addition, Mr. LeRoy is the AFSPC lead agent for aviation matters, providing advice to senior staff and representing the Command at interagency forums.
Background
Mr. LeRoy has over 30 years of combined experience in air and space operations, program management, acquisition and quality assurance. His previous assignments have included spacelift and range operations, airfield operations, Special Air Missions, airspace management and Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems management. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. LeRoy was Chief of the Spacelift, Range and AFSCN Operations Branch, responsible for policies and procedures regarding spacelift, range, Air Force Satellite Control Network and airfield operations.
