Arthur Fisher recorded his course notes from his training on airplanes and engines from two different decades. The first compilation of notes was recorded in 1931-1932. That class, called Airplane and Engine Mechanic Course, was taken at the Von Hoffmann Air College in Robertson, Missouri, located at the Lambert-St. Louis Airport. The second set of notes, also called Airplane and Engine Mechanic Course, are from a course taken from July 1941 to June 1942, and were recorded while Mr. Fisher attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics at Bettis Airport in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.
