Biography
Gopala is currently the Deputy Chief Pilot for the A330/A350 Fleet. Since joining Singapore Airlines in 1993, Gopala has held various management positions, before being seconded to Vistara, from 2013 to 2017, in order to start-up operations for the then-nascent joint-venture airline.
Gopala attained a Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Organizational and Leadership Coaching, both conferred by Northwestern University, Chicago, USA. He holds an Aviation MBA from International Air Transport Association, Montreal, Canada.
Since 2005, Gopala has been a facilitator with the International Civil Aviation Organization on security matters.
