Biography

Younkyung (Youn) Kim is currently responsible for IATA’s Passenger Experience and Facilitation agenda in Asia-Pacific. She has been with IATA since 2015 and has been involved in various initiatives, such as One ID, passenger data programs (API/PNR), Automated Border Control (ABC), visa and travel authorization, etc. Youn has about 15 years of aviation experience including a 7-year stint in Japan Airlines that included airport passenger handling and sales & marketing.

Youn holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Geneva in Switzerland and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ewha Womans University in Republic of Korea.
