Biography
Rachel McGlynn is the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Representative resident in the U.S. Embassy, Singapore. She has responsibility for Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of the Maldives, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan. The Transportation Security Administration Representative (TSAR) position is within Global Strategies at TSA. As the TSA Representative, she is responsible for developing, improving, and promoting transportation security programs and processes. The TSA Representative facilitates and works with technical security experts to ensure compliance with both international and TSA standards. Ms. McGlynn also serves as the principal transportation security advisor to the Ambassador and other U.S. Embassy officials.
Ms. McGlynn has her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Human Development from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, “Virginia Tech”. She currently resides in Singapore with her husband and two dogs.
