Description

This NA-68 (P-64), one of six North American NA-68 single seat fighters produced for Siam early in WW2. None of these six reached Siam, being embargoed by the US government and then distributed to southwestern air bases as 'hacks' under the designation P-64.

This plane was seen at Riddle Field while the pilot was visiting the airfield - possibly between November 1942 and May 1942.

Thank you to Doug MacPhail for expanding on this historical aviation photo.
