Image of AT-6 code BY taken at 5BFTS Riddle Field. Photographer and pilot unknown. The two letters clearly shown on the plane is the Riddle Field AT-6 aircraft identification code. These codes changed from having three numbers to two letters during summer 1944. Images provided by Lois Heflin Blount who worked as a secretary at 5BFTS from 1943-1945. Lois was a long-time resident of Clewiston and died in 2023 aged 97.
