Riddle Mountain Biking Club
Who We Are
Established in 2019, the Riddle Mountain Biking Club is a recognized student organization that promotes fun, sustainable, and safe riding habits. Our club has doubled in members in the last 6 months, and we expect further growth as we acquire new equipment. In Fall 2021, we have 2 club bikes that are free for any member to use or for newcomers to try the sport. To keep riders safe, we also have multiple helmets and pads and a repair stand. Thanks to a sponsor, as of this semester we also have secure storage for any member to lock their bike up safely.
What We Do
We welcome all skill levels from those riding a mountain bike for the first time to intermediate and advanced riders who come from shredding laps at bike parks and big mountain riding across the United States. Each year, we partner with other campus functions to learn skills such as career readiness, field medical procedures, and first aid. This semester we have a few club trips to Santos and Carter Road, and a weekend trip to Asheville. These are all in addition to our weekly rides at places like Riverbend and Graham Swamp.
