About the Student Research Symposium

The Student Research Symposium (SRS) is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s premier campus-wide showcase of undergraduate and graduate research, scholarship, and creative activities. Hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), SRS is held each fall at the Daytona Beach Campus and highlights the depth and breadth of student inquiry across all colleges.

SRS features:

  • Poster presentations representing all academic disciplines
  • Dedicated undergraduate and graduate research sessions
  • Best Poster Competitions judged by faculty and industry partners
  • Opportunities for students to engage with mentors, collaborators, and employers

SRS is an integral part of experiential learning at ERAU, giving students the opportunity to:

  • Present research in a professional, scholarly environment
  • Receive constructive feedback to refine their work
  • Build communication skills, confidence, and professional presence
  • Prepare for national conferences, graduate school, and career advancement
