Description
With the increase in demand for aircraft use in passenger transport and cargo delivery and to ensure safe, efficient and orderly movement of aircraft from one point to the other, there is need to have clear, precise, unambiguous and uninterrupted communication process between pilots and air traffic controllers. This presentation will discuss the processes of effectively identifying, assessing and managing threats in pilot-controller communication. This would further focus on ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements, air-ground communication hazards, bilingual radiotelephony and ICAO phonetics.
