Biography
David Keck serves as chaplain here at Riddle. He loved playing baseball, but struck out looking on three pitches his last at bat. He was so bad at playing the violin that the conductor switched him to the viola, where he would do less damage to the music. His doctoral advisor began his reply to the first draft of David’s dissertation with this observation, “The first twenty pages are simply awful, and the next thirty-two are almost as bad.” His dating life may be summed up thusly: he was rejected more than once.
