Description
This Building Was Used During World War II As A Search And Rescue Operation, Located At The New Smyrna Beach Airport, Florida, The Civil Air Patrol Watched For Enemy Planes As Part Of The United States Air Force Auxiliary. Unfortunately This Building Was Recently Demolished. Over The Door Had Been Written:
"Those Things We Do That Others May Live"
The Location Was Directly Behind The "Lost Lagoon" Restaurant on Route 1 In New Smyrna Beach. I Painted The Watercolor "On Location" With My Plein Air Group, -- East Coast Plein Air (ECPA).
