Biography
Erica Nathan
Erica Nathan is a 17-year old sophomore at Colgate University, where she is double majoring in astrogeophysics and mathematics. Growing up near the Space Coast, Erica has always been interested in astronomy and space sciences, something she pursued in curricular and extracurricular programs over the years. In the summer of 2014, she participated in the International Space Station Education Trust’s Mission Discovery program and microgravity experiment design competition at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Her team’s winning experiment on an enzyme responsible for bioluminescence is currently slated to launch on Space X’s CRS-8 in April 2016.
