Biography
Martin McLellan is ASRC Federal’s Vice President and General Manager for Civil Engineering Programs . McLellan provides overall leadership to ASRC Federal Engineering Aerospace and Mission Systems (EAMS) civil engineering programs serving NASA, NOAA and the FAA. He has extensive engineering, operations and business development experience in government and commercial aerospace and aviation.
McLellan has served in positions of increasing responsibility during his 12-year tenure with the ASRC Federal family of companies. Prior to his current role, he was the NASA Customer Relationship Executive serving as a primary ASRC Federal interface with senior-level NASA and Industry executives and leading strategy development for new and adjacent markets. McLellan was ASRC Federal Space and Defense program manager of the Wallops Engineering Services Contract and was named ASRC Federal 2015 Program Manager of the Year. Previous positions include senior technical advisor to the Federal Aviation Administration Office of Commercial Space Transportation, business development vice president, and director of operations at NASA Kennedy Space Center. He served as a test conductor for 34 successful space shuttle launches and was part of the Columbia Disaster Recovery Team. Before joining ASRC Federal, he served in s variety of operations and business development leadership roles with Spacehab Inc., Florida Space Authority and the FL Governor’s Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development.
McLellan has served as a board member of the Florida chapter of the National Space Club and Space Coast Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Warner Southern College and a Master’s Degree in aeronautical science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
