Biography
Marci Murphy joined CSB in 2002 as the Vice President of Operations. Her leadership, technical direction, performance oversight and long-range planning supported CareerSource Brevard’s three Career Centers while piloting an innovative Business-to-Jobs business service model that has been nationally recognized. Ms. Murphy is leading CSB’s sector strategy approach in solving Brevard’s workforce challenges by directing initiatives in the manufacturing, healthcare and information technology sectors with local community and industry outreach and utilizing regional, state and national resources.
Ms. Murphy serves on the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast Board of Directors, The Children’s Home Society Board of Directors and the Endeavor Elementary Advisory Council for Community Schools. She is currently a member of the Workforce Development Council of the U.S./Conference of Mayors, where she works with Mayor Capote of Palm Bay, Florida, on workforce initiatives.
