Biography
Dr. David Chesny received his PhD from Florida Institute of Technology in 2013 with concentrations in solar physics and advanced plasma propulsion system development. He is pursuing continued development of a novel high power, high specific impulse rocket technology through two co-owned companies, OrangeWave Innovative Science, LLC, and SpaceWave, LLC. He is also a former National Space Biomedical Research Institute postdoctoral fellow researching a novel radiation shielding technique for future long-duration deep-space missions.
