Biography
Roger Gibbs began working on NASA flight missions in 1983. He has served in a number of technical and managerial roles on both Flight Missions and Line Management at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Roger has had the pleasure of working on missions to Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars and in his career his work has spanned the life-cycle of missions – pre-project concept development; design, build, assemble, and launch; and mission operations. He served as the Division Manager for the avionics, robotics, and trajectory Division at JPL and is currently the Deputy Director, Mars Exploration at JPL.
