The presentation describes the design approaches for the launch vehicle transit, launch mount, water systems, foundations, flame deflector and other special features and innovations. It describes the extra challenges presented by an extended engine test firing at the launch pad. It also reviews how the design was impacted by the schedule, cost and international demands of this project.
