2016 (44th) The Journey: Further Exploration for Universal Opportunities
Space Congress® is a forum for a breadth of topics regarding current space initiatives through relevant panel discussions and prominent speakers. The Congress allows for technical interchange between aerospace professionals, faculty, students and the general public during the panel sessions.
This year’s theme “The Journey: Further Exploration for Universal Opportunities” showcases the evolution of our industry as National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Air Force, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), aerospace companies, entrepreneurs, universities continue to meet the challenges of the future.
The three-day conference includes panel discussion with industry experts and prominent speakers including Apollo XI Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, KSC Center Director Bob Cabana, Professor Scott Hubbard and 45SW Launch Group Commander, Colonel Eric Krystkowiak. Panels are made up of executives from the aerospace and aviation industries, NASA, FAA, Air Force as well as other professionals from the fields of science, engineering, aeronautics, and more. In addition, the conference includes an Expo for conference sponsors.
The Tuesday dinner banquet features Dr. Buzz Aldrin, Astronaut, Gemini 12 & Apollo XI speaking about the future of space exploration: “Achieving the Impossible and Cycling Pathways to Occupy Mars”.
