Noise pollution has been a significant problem for centuries. There have been approximately 48,000 cases every year where somebody has suffered from noise pollution. Noise pollution can cause numerous problems for humans such as hearing loss, disturbed sleep cycles, and even stress-related illnesses. However, noise pollution does not only affect humans but also animals in our ecosystem as well. This problem has affected animals in terms of disturbed hibernation, prey-predator relationship, and caused animals to go extinct. The biggest solution to noise pollution would be utilizing electric vehicles. Electric cars and motorcycles are a lot quieter than non-electric vehicles. This can significantly reduce the amount of noise pollution in the city but also in the countryside. Electric vehicles produce one-tenth of noise that cars normally produced such as cars running on gasoline or diesel. Ultimately, this is one of the most effective solutions in terms of solving noise pollution and will be beneficial for human and animal’s health within the US.
