Biography
Dr. Felix Brito has a doctorate degree in education with specialization in instructional design for online learning from Capella University, Minneapolis, MN, USA. Dr. Brito also has a Master’s degree in aeronautics with specialization in aviation/aerospace educational technology and aviation/aerospace management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Campus, Daytona Beach, FL, USA, 2012. Dr. Brito currently works as the Executive Director of Instructional Design and Development for the Instructional Design and Development Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide Campus, in Daytona Beach, FL. He is also a faculty member of the College of Aeronautics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide Campus. He has published papers on e-learning in aviation, aviation history, and leadership in aviation. He is a current member of the Association for Educational Communication & Technology (AECT), the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), and Online Learning Consortium (OLC). He received two Blackboard Catalyst Award for Exemplary Course in 2014 for the design of ASCI 638 (Human Factors in Unmanned Systems) and MGMT 391 (Introduction to Project Management).
