Call for Workshop Proposals

The ASEE Southeastern Section is pleased to invite proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the 2018 section conference. The workshops will take place on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Daytona Beach campus. The theme of this year’s conference is Educating the Engineer of the Future, but workshops can cover any topic of interest to engineering educators. These workshops provide valuable opportunities to explore new areas, engage with peers, and foster constructive discussions. We’re looking forward to a lively exchange of strategies and ideas, inspiring us all to be more innovative, resourceful educators.

Proposal Submission Guidelines

Submit proposals per instructions on se.asee.org.

Workshop proposals must include the following information:

• Workshop title
• Lead Presenter name, email, and phone number
• Names of co-presenters
• Workshop outcomes or goals
• Brief description of topics to be covered (two pages max)
• Space and equipment requirements
• Length of workshop
• Fees required for workshop attendees

Important Dates

November 10, 2017 – Due date for proposal submission
November 20, 2017 – Notification regarding proposal acceptance
