Biography
Working in aviation industry since the early 90s, Brian currently heads the aircrew training unit of Emirates Group Security as well as being the chairman of the organising committee for a growing portfolio of events including the biennial ASVEC Global Symposium in Dubai. His role involves leading a team of more than 30 full and part time trainers who deliver ‘accelerated learning programmes’ to a growing community of more than 26,000 flight and cabin crew (pre-pandemic numbers). He has represented Emirates at many seminars & conferences and is an experienced trainer, speaker and webinar host. Brian has been working with IATA towards the ratification of MP14 related to in-flight unruly behaviour and most recently he has lead training initiatives related to the prevention of on-board crime, in particular human trafficking. Along the way Brian has been busy studying and applying what he has learnt as a graduate of University of Leicester, Edith Cowan University (WA), ICAO AVSEC PMC, and in 2013 successfully graduating from the Emirates Executive Leadership Development Programme run in conjunction with Warwick Business School (UK).
