Biography

One serendipitous road trip to a neighbouring country changed my life perspective and the way I charted my career path. I transitioned from the business to non-profit sector in 2009, bringing along my experience in business development and marketing communications from the financial services sector. With 20 years of experience, I continue to take on challenging roles with international charities, bringing significant growth to these organisations.

A friend of big hairy audacious goals, I’ve always believed in being larger than myself whenever faced with an uphill task. I continue to build my experience through establishing strategically aligned partnerships and helping with sustainable and scalable project development.

It’s been an honour to work with a wonderful board and team, and lead the Singapore office of Orbis International, a non-profit that operates the world’s only flying eye hospital to treat and prevent avoidable blindness. My background in international donor relations, volunteer management and programme management has also given me a unique mindset on how one can make an impact through giving.
