Description
The Faculty of the Extended Campus of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University are pleased to present the following papers from the Fifth Annual Symposium on Teaching Effectiveness.
These symposia are presented each year to foster the exploration of means by which we may become better teachers. Through the presentation of these papers we seek to encourage continuous exploration of the art and science of teaching.
As new technology becomes available, especially in the electronic media, there is an increasing necessity that we, as practicing educators, explore and experiment with this technology, incorporating it where it enhances our educational objectives. This symposium, and the teaching roundtable which follows, provides an opportunity to report the results of such experimentation and thought.
Papers are solicited from faculty of the Extended Campus, the faculty of the University's residential campuses at Daytona Beach, Florida and Prescott, Arizona and other interested parties from the education profession. The papers presented herein have been selected by a juried process, utilizing a blind review.
