Abstract
Musculoskeletal disorders are common among healthcare professionals due to repetitive movement, prolonged standing, and physically demanding work environments. In nursing, these challenges are intensified by psychosocial stressors such as staffing shortages, role ambiguity, and increased cognitive workload. Ergonomic assessments using the Hand Threshold Limit Value (TLV) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) revealed significant strain associated with patient transport, CPR, and extended administrative duties. The resulting discomfort contributes to chronic pain, fatigue, and decreased focus, which can impair overall job performance and long-term health. Implementing ergonomic interventions along with regular rest breaks and task rotation can alleviate physical strain, enhance employee safety, and promote sustainable well-being among nursing professionals.
