Abstract

In 2022, Ryanair received both positive and negative evaluations regarding employment conditions. Favorable assessments highlighted competitive compensation, comprehensive training programs, and consistent scheduling. In contrast, employees reported salary reductions and raised concerns about management practices and organizational culture. As a result of these adverse conditions, a significant number of employees participated in strikes against the airline. Ryanair depends on its flight and cabin crew to deliver high-quality customer service. Employee job satisfaction directly influences performance, customer interactions, and brand representation. The work environment significantly affects service delivery; consequently, strikes resulting from staff dissatisfaction led to operational disruptions and staff shortages. These disruptions are primarily attributed to the unfavorable working conditions reported by employees. This research mainly aims to examine Ryanair’s work environment and how it affects employee motivation, job satisfaction, and labor relations. Understanding these factors is important because Ryanair’s success depends on engaged and high-performing staff. Satisfied employees help ensure smooth flights, safety, and a good reputation. The study also looks at how strikes affect Ryanair’s public image and customer relations. The results will help suggest ways to improve employee well-being and the company’s performance and profitability.
