Abstract
Significance of Education for Females in Singapore
This research looks at the role that education plays in the life for females in the southeastern Asian country of Singapore. The first phase of the project involves doing research with outside sources before travel to the country. The final phase involved spending time interviewing a variety of women who live in Singapore who are in different stages of their educational careers. The group involved several women who were in their own stages of upper-level education, along with an older female who gave input on her past experiences with education in the country. Upon examination of the interviews, observations, and outside research, it became clear that education was somewhat imperative to live as a successful female in modern-day Singapore.
