2022 DLS Student Poster Awardee: Rhiana Murphy

Rhiana Murphy is an online student in the MLIS program at the University of Denver and a virtual Ask A Librarian Apprentice at the University of Colorado Boulder Libraries. She completed her virtual internship at the University of Wyoming Libraries where she studied distance information literacy instruction. Rhiana is interested in opportunities distance librarianship can offer MLIS students, particularly aspiring academic librarians. As a student, most of her professional experience occurred at a distance. Rhiana hopes her work will inspire others to think creatively about the possibilities virtual environments can provide students of all kinds.
