Biography
Yoshinao Nawata is a Professor at the Civil Aviation College, which was founded in 1954 as an attached institution to Japan Ministry of Transport. He earned his M.A. from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. Currently, he teaches Aviation English, especially aeronautical radiotelephony communications, to ab-initio pilot trainees. His research interests are English for Specific Purposes (ESP), language education, and material development and evaluation in the field of Aviation English training.
